Position Summary The Senior Manager, Faculty Development & Medical Education is responsible for shaping and executing AMI China's faculty development and medical education strategy across the aesthetics portfolio. This role serves as a strategic and operational leader in building a sustainable faculty ecosystem, driving educational excellence, and delivering high-impact medical education initiatives. The incumbent will lead the planning and execution of key educational programs, faculty development projects, scientific exchanges, and international academic engagements while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, global AMI teams, and external experts. The role requires a unique combination of strategic thinking, project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and educational innovation to strengthen AMI's leadership position in medical aesthetics education. Key Responsibilities Faculty Development & Faculty Excellence • Develop and implement AMI China's faculty development strategy in alignment with business priorities and long-term educational objectives. • Build and maintain a sustainable faculty ecosystem through structured identification, recruitment, onboarding, development, and succession planning processes. • Design and execute comprehensive faculty capability-building initiatives, including train-the-trainer programs, faculty academies, mentorship programs, and leadership development pathways. • Drive faculty engagement and performance excellence through systematic assessment, coaching, and recognition programs. • Cultivate strong partnerships with key opinion leaders, faculty members, and academic experts to enhance educational impact and scientific leadership. • Support the development of emerging faculty and future opinion leaders across key therapeutic and aesthetic areas. Medical Education Strategy & Curriculum Development • Partner with the China AMI leadership team to develop annual and long-term medical education strategies. • Design educational frameworks, competency models, learning journeys, and curriculum roadmaps aligned with physician development needs. • Ensure all educational initiatives are scientifically rigorous, customer-centric, and aligned with compliance and governance requirements. • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, and Global AMI teams to translate business priorities and scientific advances into impactful educational programs. • Identify opportunities to incorporate innovative learning methodologies, digital education platforms, and emerging educational technologies. Strategic Program Leadership & Execution • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of high-impact AMI educational initiatives and strategic capability-building programs. • Manage large-scale national and regional educational events, faculty summits, scientific forums, expert workshops, and advanced training programs. • Drive cross-functional coordination to ensure successful delivery of strategic educational projects within scope, timeline, and budget. • Develop project objectives, implementation plans, success metrics, and post program evaluation frameworks. • Monitor program effectiveness and leverage insights to continuously optimize educational offerings and customer experiences. International Academic Exchange & Global Collaboration • Lead planning and execution of international academic exchange programs and overseas educational initiatives. • Establish and strengthen collaborations with global AMI teams, international experts, centers of excellence, and leading educational institutions. • Organize international study tours, preceptorship programs, scientific exchange activities, and faculty development partnerships. • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best-practice transfer between global and local faculties. • Support faculty participation in major international congresses and educational platforms. Expert Development & KOL Engagement • Develop strategic expert engagement plans to support AMI educational priorities. • Identify and cultivate high-potential experts for future faculty roles and speaking opportunities. • Partner with key opinion leaders to co-create innovative educational content and scientific programs. • Enhance AMI's academic reputation by fostering long-term relationships with leading experts and professional societies. • Support faculty participation in national and international scientific meetings and thought leadership initiatives. Stakeholder Management & Organizational Influence • Serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders on faculty and education related initiatives. • Collaborate effectively with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, BTS, Clinical Development, Compliance, and Global teams. • Influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations and educational expertise. • Represent AMI in key internal and external educational forums when appropriate. Education • Bachelor's degree required. • Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, Education, or Business preferred. • MD, PhD, MBA, or other advanced qualifications are highly desirable. Experience • Minimum 8 years of experience in medical education, faculty development, medical affairs, professional education, healthcare consulting, or related functions. • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale medical education programs and strategic projects. • Strong experience in faculty engagement, KOL development, and educational curriculum design. • Proven track record of managing national educational events, scientific congress activities, and complex cross-functional initiatives. • Experience working with global stakeholders and international educational programs preferred. • Medical aesthetics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
