Role SummaryWe are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 2-3 years of experience with expertise in automation testing, API validation, AI-assisted test engineering, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks while ensuring product quality through comprehensive functional, integration, regression, smoke, and API testing. The role requires close collaboration with developers, product owners, and Agile teams to enhance release quality and test efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesTest AutomationDesign, develop, and maintain automated UI and backend test suites. Build scalable automation frameworks using Python, Selenium WebDriver, and supporting tools; and Codex with Playwright skills Automate regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing processes. Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort through automation. API & Backend ValidationValidate REST APIs, integrations, payloads, response codes, and workflow behavior. Develop automated API testing and backend validation solutions. Support integration testing across multiple applications and services. Quality EngineeringCreate, review, and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases. Perform defect tracking, root-cause analysis, and verification of fixes. Manage end-to-end quality gates for product releases. Domain expertise Good knowledge and experience in bioinformatics, CGT instruments AI-Assisted TestingLeverage GenAI tools to generate and improve test scenarios. Review AI-generated test cases for completeness, executability, and coverage. Develop processes that improve software quality through AI-assisted SDLC practices. Agile CollaborationWork closely with Product Managers, Developers, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders. Participate in sprint planning, test estimation, defect triage, and release readiness reviews. Provide quality metrics, execution reports, and stakeholder updates. Required SkillsPython programming Selenium WebDriver REST API Testing Jira, X-Ray Test Automation Frameworks Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration Testing Agile / Scrum Methodologies Test Reporting and Quality Metrics Data Analysis using Pandas and NumPy Experience using Codex along with prompt optimization for accurate test case creation Active participation in review meetings, demonstrations and technical discussions with peers and stakeholders
