Safety Management Lead and coordinate site safety activities and initiatives. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits. Identify hazards and implement appropriate risk control measures. 2. Incident Management Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Monitor closure of identified safety actions. 3. Training and Awareness Conduct safety inductions for new employees and contractors. Organize toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness campaigns. Train employees on emergency response, safe work practices, and PPE requirements. 4. Compliance and Documentation Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training records, and incident logs. Ensure compliance with OSHA, Factory Act, ISO 45001, and other applicable standards. Assist during internal and external safety audits. 5. Emergency Preparedness Coordinate emergency response activities and drills. Ensure emergency equipment is maintained and readily available. Support crisis management and business continuity plans. 6. Team Leadership Supervise and mentor safety officers and safety representatives. Promote a positive safety culture across the organization. Support cross-functional teams in achieving safety objectives. 7. Performance Monitoring Track safety KPIs such as TRIR, LTIFR, near-miss reporting, and audit findings. Prepare periodic safety performance reports for management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety. Qualifications B.E Chemical Engineering Qualifications for safety- PDIS and ADIS Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent preferred. ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification is an advantage. Requirements 10-12 years of experience in occupational health and safety. Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role. Experience in manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or construction industries preferred.
