Responsibilities: Ensures accurate, timely, and compliant accounting and reporting within the Shared Service Center; Performs General Ledger accounting, reporting, and controlling processes in close collaboration with local entities; Executes and supports monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including sub-ledger integration (AP, AR, Fixed Assets); Prepares and posts journal entries, including accruals, provisions, and reclassifications; Performs balance sheet reconciliations and conducts regular checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness; Supports P&L and balance sheet reviews together with local stakeholders and provides variance analysis; Produces standard accounting analyses and reports to support business decision-making; Resolves accounting-related issues and discrepancies in collaboration with local entities and cross-functional teams; Ensures compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies; maintains proper documentation; Supports internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations; Contributes to Accounts Payable processes (e.g. issue resolution, invoice flow understanding; Identifies risks and operational issues proactively and suggests corrective actions to the Team Lead; Drives process improvements, standardization, and harmonization across Finance processes, including automation initiatives; Supports projects, process transitions, and operational excellence initiatives within the SSC environment; Acts as a key contact and advisor for GL, AP, and AR topics, supports team members, and contributes to knowledge transfer and training. Qualifications: University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Experience in General Ledger accounting, reporting, and controlling processes; Basic knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP is a plus; Solid experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA or similar) is mandatory; Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with at least intermediate Excel skills required; Fluent in English for business communication; Strong analytical and fact-based mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy; Structured, reliable, and deadline-oriented way of working; Ability to understand end-to-end finance processes, including integration points with AP and AR; Proactive attitude with the ability to identify issues and suggest solutions independently; Openness and willingness to contribute to process improvements and continuous optimization; Strong team player with good communication skills in an international environment; Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a dynamic SSC setting; Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of responsibilities.
