The Team: XDB Platform team is a part of R&D organization. We are multidisciplinary team committed to deliver innovative technologies related to Electron & Ion Beam Microscopy. We design and deliver building blocks for complex solutions applied in Material Sciences, Life Sciences and Semiconductor business. The Position: As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will support the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to ongoing projects within the team. Key responsibilities: Working in compliance with legislation and IMS. Support the development of new products in accordance with internal and external standards, considering cost, specifications, and timelines. Collaborate closely with engineers within the design team. Design components with a focus on manufacturability, serviceability, and reliability. Prepare technical documentation for newly developed components and support documentation archiving. Participate in testing activities and assist in analyzing and resolving issues related to performance and reliability. Requirements: Student of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Basic understanding of technical documentation, design principles, and engineering materials. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio). Experience with 3D CAD tools (ability to create part and assembly models). Ability to clearly present results of your work. English proficiency sufficient for daily communication.
