The Red Hat Services team is looking for an OpenShift Architect to design and deliver strategic solutions that solve our clients’ business challenges, through technical leadership, hands-on implementation, and enablement of recommended practices. In this role, you will play a key role as a promoter of the adoption of Red Hat's solutions for our customers by using your technical expertise, and interpersonal skills. You’ll need to have a balance of solid technical experience, team leadership, awareness of open source, thorough understanding of business processes, and the ability to identify and solve issues at an enterprise level. This position requires candidates to work on-site with clients, so a willingness to travel regularly to customer locations throughout North America is required. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business and hold an Active Top Secret Clearance. What you will do: Guide customers in building scalable, optimally managed solutions and adaptable to technological improvements using Red Hat technologies. Lead and deliver Services discovery sessions to educate customers on Red Hat technologies and best practices. Support the creation and review of task lists, accurately scoping projects and ensuring alignment with customer requirements. Provide technical expertise during presales activities. Build and maintain solid customer relationships, fostering collaboration and success. Clearly articulate the value of the Red Hat Services Portfolio, including Consulting, Training, and Technical Account Managers and integrate services into customer solutions. Provide customer feedback to internal teams to enhance product offerings and services. Lead internal initiatives that foster innovation, efficiency, and growth within the Services business. Continuously learn, grow, and adapt to new skills and technologies Regular travel to client locations, up to weekly according to project needs What you will bring: 5+ years experience in a solution architect, enterprise architect or technical consultant role Track record for creating architectural designs and leading a team on implementation toward successful customer outcomes Demonstrated ability to oversee project delivery including collaborating on project timelines and scope of work, identifying stakeholder needs and setting expectations Experience working collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders An ability and desire to mentor and experience with mentoring and coaching team members Experience leading teams in workshops, enablement, or engagements Associate or Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline Experience leading successful modern cloud platform consulting engagements Experience with Red Hat Openshift and/or underlying components like Kubernetes and containers Experience with Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative Experience with Identity Management technologies, including but not limited to Red Hat Identity Manager, Microsoft Active Directory or other identity providers. The salary range for this position is $130,420.00 - $215,300.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. Pay Transparency Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
