Our in-vitro Diagnostic Assay manufacturing site in Dundee has an exciting opportunity for a Labelling Officer to join the Dundee Labelling department and contribute to our mission of safely ensuring the on-time delivery of production labels which conforms to current best practices and Quality standards. What You’ll Do Responsible for inspection of new labelling matter (new label design, IFUs and artwork) Complete quality documentation as per GMP requirements Be able to operate Labelling Equipment Actively seek out and contribute to continuous improvements activities Accurately control labelling stock Maintenance and monitoring of labelling equipment (i.e. Printers / cameras), to ensure optimal performance Conduct all activities in accordance with the Abbott Dundee Health & Safety culture Working hours: Monday-Friday shift pattern (2 weeks early shift/2 weeks late shift) Required Qualifications / Profile Knowledge of Labelling programs and associated software ensuring version control Knowledge of GMP Processes and procedures Nat 4 or equivalent in English, maths or equivalent experience to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills Experienced in set up and maintenance of labelling equipment Knowledge of fault finding on various types of equipment Experience in using ERP system for labelling stock controls Driven and committed to meet customer performance and delivery An ability to communicate effectively to a wide audience and accept and follow up on the views and opinions of others Attention to detail Working at Abbott At Abbott, you can do work that matters, grow, and learn, care for yourself and family, be your true self and live a full life.
