Job Description SummaryThe AST Compliance Specialist is a key support role within GE HealthCare’s Advanced Imaging Solutions (AIS) Marketing Operations team, reporting directly to the Compliance and Transparency Manager. This individual is responsible for the day to day administration of the Aggregate Spend Tool (AST) and related transparency processes, ensuring that all transfers of value to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) are accurately captured, recorded, and maintained in accordance with GE HealthCare’s Global Interaction Policy (GIP), applicable state transparency laws, and internal compliance standards. Working in close partnership with the Compliance and Transparency Manager, this role provides essential operational support that enables the AIS compliance function to run effectively across all regions. Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities Aggregate Spend Management Administer the Aggregate Spend Tool (AST), including data entry, maintenance, and reconciliation of HCP and HCO transfers of value Perform regular data scrubbing and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of spend records Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, duplicates, and reporting disputes in a timely manner Coordinate with business units (Sales, Marketing, Medical Education) to capture spend data accurately and on schedule Transparency Reporting Monitor and ensure compliance with state level HCP transparency reporting requirements Support international transparency reporting obligations where applicable Maintain organized records of all submissions, dispute resolutions, and audit trails Compliance Support Assist the Compliance and Transparency Manager in auditing HCP transfers of value to ensure alignment with GE HealthCare’s Global Interaction Policy and the AdvaMed Code of Ethics Support HCP travel review and approval processes, ensuring spend is pre approved and within policy limits Support the Compliance and Transparency Manager in developing and maintaining compliance training materials and SOPs related to AST and aggregate spend processes Participate in internal audits and monitoring activities; escalate issues as appropriate Stakeholder Collaboration Act as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on aggregate spend queries and Sunshine Act reporting obligations Liaise with Finance, Legal, and Business Operations teams to ensure spend is correctly categorized and attributed Respond to HCP dispute requests and coordinate resolution within required timeframes Collaborate across the functional matrix: including Sales, Medical Education, Marketing, Finance, and Legal: to ensure compliance needs are understood and met in support of business objectives Proactively communicate compliance requirements to thought leaders, business leaders, and other stakeholders ahead of planned events and activities, ensuring all engagements are appropriately reviewed and approved Support the FMV process by applying approved Fair Market Value (FMV) calculator outputs when processing HCP engagements, and flag any exceptions or anomalies to the Compliance and Transparency Manager for review and escalation Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Operations team as needed, including coordination of logistics, documentation, and other tasks that support team effectiveness Qualifications Required Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field; relevant Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience also considered 0 2 years of experience in a compliance, administrative, or operations role; experience in healthcare, medical device, or life sciences is a plus but not required Basic awareness of healthcare compliance concepts; willingness to learn the Physician Payments Sunshine Act and applicable transparency regulations on the job An interest in or exposure to compliance, regulatory, or administrative processes; curiosity about the healthcare industry is welcome Strong attention to detail with excellent data management and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with compliance or spend management systems Preferred Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or working toward certification Experience with aggregate spend or transparency reporting platforms (e.g., Veeva, Model N, or similar) Knowledge of international HCP transparency requirements (EU, Japan, etc.) Experience in a large, matrixed organization such as GE HealthCare Core Competencies Integrity & Accountability: models GE HealthCare’s values and upholds a culture of compliance Analytical Thinking: able to identify data anomalies and drive resolution Communication: clearly conveys compliance requirements to non-compliance audiences Collaboration: works effectively across functions and geographies Adaptability: comfortable managing competing deadlines and evolving regulatory requirements We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $76,000.00-$114,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
