Skillsoft is seeking an experienced talent and learning professional to join our Professional Services team as a Senior Learning Consultant. In this role you will work alongside customers to advance their talent, learning and skilling strategies by delivering world-class, value-added solutions leveraging your expertise in project management, instructional design, job architecture, cognitive science, and adult learning methodologies. RESPONSIBILITIES: Project & Program Delivery Lead and execute the delivery of solution engagements, working within pre-established guidelines as outlined in service contracts and statements of work, on time and within budget. Maintain project plans, monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, manage issues, and their escalation, communicating impacts to both internal and customer stakeholders, and adjusting timelines when needed. Communicate project status and key updates to clients, account teams, management, and stakeholders while maintaining appropriate project documentation. Client Consulting & Relationship Management Provide consulting expertise in learning and development, workforce planning, change management, learning adoption, competency alignment, and organizational transformation initiatives. Partner with internal account teams and customers to understand business priorities, use cases, skilling needs, and requirements, to align solution approach and recommendations to desired outcomes Serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor for clients, maintaining strong relationships and acting as the main point of contact for contracted solutions and services. Collaborate with clients to develop and deliver talent and skilling solutions, including competency-based programs, global rollouts, communication strategies, and adoption plans. Learning Strategy & Solution Development Conduct learning needs analyses, job role analyses, and skills gap assessments to inform learning, skilling, and workforce development strategies. Design, develop, and implement strategic learning and skilling plans that align workforce capabilities with business objectives. Facilitate client meetings, workshops, webinars, presentations, and conference sessions to gather requirements, share best practices, and communicate recommendations. Measurement, Expertise & Continuous Improvement Analyze program performance through reporting, trend analysis, and value measurement activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Maintain current knowledge of Skillsoft products, Percipio enhancements, certification offerings, and learning industry trends to provide informed guidance to clients. Participate in ongoing professional development activities and adapt effectively to changing business priorities, products, and customer needs. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 8+ years of experience as a practitioner of learning facilitation, leadership development, learning ROI metrics and measurement, and/or learning strategy with a University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong experience with virtual and collaboration web tools Advanced level of desktop application skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Access) with ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly as new application skills are required for the position Experience or familiarity with the computer-based training market Fami
