A Day in the LifeWe are seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented Senior Quality Specialist to help develop, maintain, and improve quality standards across product and process workflows. In this role, you will partner with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure products and production equipment meet required specifications, reliability standards, and compliance expectations. This is an individual contributor role within the Technical Specialist career stream. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, support complex problem-solving, and help drive improvements in quality systems, product performance, and process consistency. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. Required Knowledge and Experience: Baccalaureate degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or PhD with 0 years of relevant experience Strong understanding of quality systems, inspection methods, and statistical analysis techniques Experience working with engineering and manufacturing teams Ability to evaluate complex quality issues and recommend process improvements Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience in product, process, or supplier quality preferred Ability to work independently under limited supervision Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and support cross-functional alignment Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. ‌ Recruitment Fraud Alert We are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
