Role Summary The CISO, Infrastructure and Cloud Services organization enables Pfizer’s mission by delivering secure, resilient, and scalable technology platforms that support operations and future growth. Through a unified operating model, it strengthens accountability, accelerates decision‑making, and improves availability, security, and cost efficiency. The CISO Communications Manager will support the Senior Manager, Marketing and Enterprise Awareness to develop meaningful communications that tell the CISO story to external clients through elements including text, graphs, pictures, charts, presentations, and tables. The manager will lead the creation of a communication strategy and roadmap for the Chief Information Security Office Team. Role ResponsibilitiesLead the creation and implementation of strategic plans for key priority projects throughout the year, ensuring alignment with the communications strategy and messaging roadmap. Collaborate closely with the CISO Leadership team to develop and deliver effective messaging that supports business goals and the overall communications strategy. Drive and manage the execution of CISO change and communications initiatives. Serve as the primary liaison with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate communication for regular project updates. Partner with subject matter experts to lead the launch and delivery of targeted communications supporting new initiatives and implementations. Provide strategic oversight and direction to ensure the development and implementation of effective communications across the organization. Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of ongoing activities, gather key priorities, and proactively identify and address communication gaps. Develop innovative and creative approaches to communicate the work being carried out to the wider company, including the creation of engaging presentations and compelling storytelling. Lead efforts to gather feedback and poll the organization to identify areas of focus and measure progress against established goals. Oversee and support various internal communications initiatives, including writing internal news copy, maintaining content for online portals, and creating and editing videos. Oversee and lead the global information security officer network Lead the development of global training initiatives Lead, develop, and inspire a team of colleagues by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive team culture. Manage day-to-day team performance, including goal setting, workload prioritization, and delivery oversight, while ensuring alignment to organizational objectives. QualificationsBachelors degree in English, Marketing, Communication, or Graphic Design preferred with at least 4 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience. Ability to develop enterprise-wide communication plans from start to finish Previous experience working in technology, information security, infrastructure, cybersecurity (Preferred) Aptitude for quick, creative thinking Acute attention to detail with emphasis on quality Strong time management skills Excellent written communication skills Excellent cross group collaborations skills Excellent public speaker Strong people management experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve business objectives. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
