Job Description Delivery & Tribe Coordination Own end‑to‑end delivery accountability for Ex‑US Commercial Bronze and Silver data products across multiple squads and regions Coordinate delivery activities across squads, chapters, and supporting competencies (QA, Reliability, DevOps) Ensure predictable delivery aligned with priorities, milestones, and capacity commitments Act as the primary escalation point for delivery risks, cross-team dependencies, and execution blockers Drive PI planning, backlog alignment, and dependency management in a scaled agile (SAFe) setup Manage delivery across multiple geographies and regional teams, ensuring alignment and consistency Platform Ownership & Operations Take ownership of the modernized Ex‑US Commercial data platform on Databricks post migration Ensure the platform is stable, observable, scalable, and fit for continuous Bronze & Silver data delivery Work with Architecture, Platform, and Reliability teams to enforce operational standards, monitoring, and support models Drive continuous improvement of data pipelines within governance and platform standards Ensure consistent platform adoption across regional implementations Regional Standardization & Common Model Governance (Key Differentiator) Define and drive standardization of data models, pipelines, and delivery patterns across Ex‑US markets Ensure common data models (canonical models) are implemented, adopted, and consistently maintained across regions Minimize fragmentation by enforcing reuse, harmonization, and alignment across country-specific implementations Establish governance mechanisms to ensure adherence to global standards while accommodating local regulatory or business variations Collaborate with global architecture teams to define reusable frameworks and scalable design patterns Drive alignment between regional teams to ensure consistency in data definitions, business rules, and KPIs AI‑Enabled Delivery & Innovation Drive adoption of AI-enabled delivery methods (automation, assisted development, intelligent quality checks) mprove delivery efficiency, scalability, and time-to-value across regional pipelines Ensure AI adoption aligns with enterprise governance, compliance, and observability requirements Promote experimentation and adoption of modern engineering practices for repeatable and AI‑ready data foundations Data Strategy & Domain Alignment Co-create and maintain the Ex‑US Commercial data domain strategy with Data & Information Architecture and Gold Analytics teams Align Bronze and Silver data products with clearly defined Gold use cases and business outcomes Translate domain strategy into execution roadmaps for delivery squads Promote reuse, consistency, and cross-region standard data patterns Ensure alignment between regional strategies and global enterprise data strategy Stakeholder Collaboration Serve as the primary interface for Domain Analysis & Planning and regional business stakeholders Manage demand intake, prioritization, and structured delivery planning across regions Communicate delivery status, risks, and trade-offs transparently Align with adjacent domains (e.g., Market Access, Forecasting) where dependencies exist Facilitate collaboration across global and regional teams Governance, Quality & Compliance Ensure data governance, lineage, and quality standards are consistently applied across all Ex‑US pipelines Enforce adherence to SDLC, audit, and compliance requirements across regions Partner with QA and Reliability teams to improve data quality, resilience, and incident response Ensure standardization efforts do not compromise compliance with local market regulations Requirements / Qualifications Proven experience leading data delivery across multiple squads in a global, distributed environment ·Strong understanding of data platforms and analytics delivery (Bronze / Silver / Gold architecture) Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (preferably Databricks) Experience in driving standardization and harmonization across multiple regions or markets Ability to influence delivery without direct line authority Experience in scaled agile (SAFe) delivery models Strong stakeholder communication across technical and business teams Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones Experience in Commercial or Life Sciences domains (Ex‑US markets preferred) Experience in defining or governing canonical data models or enterprise data standards Familiarity with data governance and metadata tools (e.g., Collibra) Background in data engineering, analytics engineering, or solution architecture What Success Looks Like Ex‑US Bronze and Silver delivery is predictable, stable, and scalable across all regions A standardized data and delivery framework is consistently adopted across markets Common data models are implemented, reused, and maintained globally, reducing duplication Regional variations are managed without breaking global consistency The Databricks platform is fully operationalized and supports multi-region delivery at scale Strong cross-region collaboration with clear ownership and minimal fragmentation
