Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech About the Role Surgery Pricing Analyst provides support and guidance to the business regarding strategic pricing priorities, to drive value-based pricing and to maximize the value of innovation, and lead the pricing related tasks for Surgery Franchise in Saudi. You will be responsible for: Pro-actively engage with Business partners and SAM teams, to provide support and guidance regarding strategic pricing priorities: to drive value-based pricing and to maximize the value of innovation Support Pricing Lead for multi-factor pricing analysis to identify and monitor the trends, root cause of profitability leaks and/or price erosion and provide recommendations Lead KSA private sector indirect tender submissions and support KSA direct tender submissions Analyze tender quotation prices and profitability, review outcomes through win/loss reviews, pricing simulations, and debrief to build tender intelligence to increase success rate for future tenders. Leverage historical tender data, win/loss analysis, and market benchmarks to support pricing strategies. Ensure continuity, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly Price Performance Reports and Business Reviews Ensure local pricing governance and EMEA pricing governance guidelines are followed Support business by seeking ways to drive better product mix to improve profitability Drive price escalations as per guidelines and support the discussions by providing detailed price analysis considering key performance measures Support Pricing Leader in developing governance and discount matrix models and frameworks to ensure pricing compliance and adherence to guidelines Provide price change simulations during PL update process to optimize SGP through Price, Volume & Mix. Support pricing trainings to upgrade skills of S&M team to influence price decision making process in line with strategic priorities, to enhance product value understanding, to support correct product positioning and segmentation in the market. Continuously improve pricing reporting and analytics: Maintain Power BI reports for pricing reviews and always look for opportunities to enhance the report and dashboards to provide greater visibility on business Ensure Product database/ Price list is accurate and aligned with Regulatory inputs Manage Cignon PL approvals in timely manner, ensuring prices are set within pricing guidelines Lead/support key projects related to Pricing & Tenders wherever needed Ensure Pricing SOPs are kept up to date Ensure compliant pricing processes and SOX controls are in place and documented per requirements Maintain the timely and accurate submission of SOX reports concerning pricing conditions on SAP Lead the regular maintenance of Price and Profitability Tool, and continuously look for opportunities for enhancements, to support decision making process Continuously maintain prices in SAP to ensure the right price is loaded for the right customer for smooth order processing Train all AFA Tender module users whenever necessary and lead the change management for the stakeholders accordingly Continuously improve the digital tools and reports, to support business stakeholders and to ensure all changing requirements are met Observes and promotes all regulatory requirements as defined per applicable regulations, rules and procedures established by the Company, and notifies any violation or deviation to the immediate supervisor or appropriate authority Complies with own training requirements to perform duties of own job Qualifications / Requirements: University/Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Marketing/ Economics/ Business or Engineering 2-3 years related experience ideally in pricing, tenders, or finance in the region. Experience in Medical Device Industry or Pharma is a plus Proficiency in MS office specifically advanced MS Excel knowledge Proficiency in Power BI Working knowledge of SAP will be an advantage Strong technical and analytical skills, including knowledge and understanding of pricing adn commercial strategies, compliance framework, experience in analysis and modeling. Strong business acumen High attention to detail Excellent team player Ability to analyze, work through and identify solutions to problems Proficiency in MS office specifically advanced MS Excel knowledge Fluent in English and Arabic (French language a plus) Excellent communication skills as daily communication with business partners – commercial team, support functions, customers through multiple communication platforms Proven ability to influence business partners with fact‐based data Strong in framing and communicating issues and solutions, including presentations, interactions with business partners and teams, proactive in information sharing Flexible & proactive approach Solution and results oriented High sense of urgency Please note: For candidates applying to the Saudi Arabia location, this role is open to Saudi nationals only, in line with local Saudization requirements.
