Role and responsibilities The Senior Team Lead EF Logistics is responsible for leading a team of logistics operators within a high-tech cleanroom environment. The role ensures efficient, compliant, and high-quality material flows while driving continuous improvement and supporting team development. The Senior Team Lead combines strong people leadership, operational ownership, and lean-driven process improvement to maintain optimal logistics performance in a complex production environment. Key Responsibilities 1. People Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of logistics operators Foster a culture of trust, safety, and accountability Provide regular feedback and support individual development Empower team members to solve problems and take ownership Ensure clear communication of expectations and priorities 2. Operational Process Ownership Maintain overview of end-to-end cleanroom logistics processes Ensure material availability aligned with production needs Safeguard quality and compliance of all logistics flows Monitor daily performance and escalate risks where needed Coordinate with internal stakeholders (planning, production, engineering, quality) 3. Continuous Improvement & Lean Execution Drive structured problem solving using data and root cause analysis Identify and implement improvements in flow, quality, and efficiency Promote Lean principles such as standard work, 5S, and waste reduction Lead and participate in improvement initiatives and projects Sustain improvements through daily management routines 4. Decision-Making & Operational Control Make timely decisions in a high-pressure, high-precision environment Balance priorities between safety, quality, delivery, and cost Act based on facts and data from the shop floor (“go see”) Ensure rapid response to disruptions or deviations 5. Communication & Stakeholder Alignment Act as a key interface between operations and supporting functions Translate operational challenges into clear stakeholder actions Align daily with other team leads and production areas Ensure transparent communication of performance and issues 6. Compliance, Safety & Cleanroom Discipline Ensure strict adherence to cleanroom protocols and procedures Promote a high level of discipline and attention to detail Monitor and enforce safety, quality, and contamination standards Address deviations proactively and consistently 7. Performance & Accountability Management Set clear team goals and KPIs Drive daily performance management (visual boards, stand-ups) Hold team members accountable in a constructive and respectful way Recognize achievements and celebrate successes 8. Change Leadership Lead the team through continuous change and innovation Engage employees in process and system improvements Manage resistance and maintain motivation during transitions Contribute to scaling and improving logistics operations Education and experience Bachelor or Master degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, etc. 5-10 years of team lead experience Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies SkillsHigh level of discipline and attention to detail Ownership mindset and accountability Resilience and ability to perform under pressure Proactive and solution-oriented attitude Strong coaching and people development skills Effective communication and influencing ability Ability to create a safe and high-performing team environment Strong understanding of logistics processes and flow management Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving capability Ability to maintain overview in complex environments Other informationThe Sr. Team Lead will work in a support schedule which consists of working in shifts (2-shift schedule): You are working 4 days a week with one fix day off every week. This deviates between: Early shift (06:30 - 15:30) Late shift (15:00 - 00:00) Once per 4 weeks a weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday) We will only consider candidates who have uploaded their CV as well as their motivation for this specific role at ASML in their cover letter. You will be partly working in the cleanroom. Context of the position The sector EUV Factory is responsible for the production of EUV lithographic systems. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within the EUV Factory in Veldhoven. Within the EUV Factory the Production Logistics department is responsible for all logistic processes and planning within the EUV factory. The EF Logistics Sr. Team Lead reports to the Manager EF Logistics and works closely with his colleague Team Leaders within the EF Production Logistics department ensuring overall efficient logistics production processes. In addition, she or he works together with various other team leaders responsible for building modules and systems as well as testing and dismantling these systems. Currently our department consists of over 80 hardworking colleagues. The Sr. Team Lead will be responsible for a team of approximately 15 Logistical Operators. Success Criteria A successful Sr. Team Lead EF Logistics: Builds a motivated and high-performing team Maintains stable, compliant, and efficient logistics flows Drives continuous improvement and operational excellence Acts as a trusted partner for stakeholders across the factory For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 77,000 euro and 87,000 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment and is based on a full-time contract. Company profit sharing is not included in this range. As this is a shift-based position you will receive a shift allowance on top of the indicated salary range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members.
