This Position reports to: Marketing & Sales Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead regional/local marketing and sales activities for products, systems, services within the defined industry segment(s). Each day, you will ensure that the related business substantially increases sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the definition of industry group footprint (market presence, execution standards, and delivery model). The work model for the role is: #Li_Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion business based at Bangalore, India: You will be mainly accountable for:Developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party and project sales. Interpreting the global industry segment strategy to meet region/country requirements and implementing with country specific action plans. Activating operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify best processes, equipment, and automation practices, etc. Driving the growth of the top line in each target industry segment. Work closely with:-Business Lines (Motors & Generators, Drives, Digital/ Service Operations & Field Service Teams/ Channel partners and workshops Ensure seamless execution from sales to delivery Qualifications for the role Have Experience of 8 to 10 years Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) Motors & Generators services (must-have) Industrial service sales / power sector Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and applications (good-to-have) Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline Deep customer understanding in power generation space Order intake and revenue growth (Power Generation segment) Installed Base penetration (%) Service Agreement growth More about us ABB Motion provides pioneering technology, products, solutions and related services to industrial customers to increase energy efficiency, improve safety and reliability, and maintain precise control over processes.
