This position reports to: Engineering Manager 2 __ Your role and responsibilities We are looking for Project and Commissioning Engineer, who will participate to Project and commissioning activities in all types of projects sizes and complexities, efficiently, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities. Preparing project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables. Supporting Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.). Providing quality solutions as per customer requirements and delivering within budget and contract. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks. Supporting in conducting risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning phase and in handling technical risks by following mitigation guidelines. Identifying potential Hazards and reports to Site management. Assisting customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables. Assisting communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings interact with customer on request. Collaborating with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers. Using standard processes and procedures to ensure all commissioning activities comply with the required safety regulations and satisfy contractual requirements. Reporting processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests improvements ideas. Improving effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions. Qualifications for the role Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Energy, Computer Science) with basic experience in automation software configuration or High school technical diploma (Electronics, telecommunication) with initial experience. Knowledge of the information technology, experience and comfort using Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, experience and comfort using some of the most popular Office programs, such as those used to create word, excel (formulas & pivot). Knowledge of process automation: sensor & control elements system/subsystem, experience and comfort on various approach to control engineering strategies using & understanding the necessary input (e.g. P&ID, signal list, functional control diagram). Knowledge of Human Machine: comfort in the understanding of graphic Interfaces that represent the control system such design from P&ID. Electrical knowledge: reading, understanding and implementing (if needed) modification in control cabinet functional schemes. Ability to organize and work in team. Availability to travel domestically and abroad up to 25% of time during commissioning phases. Time-management and you are at ease communicating in English and Italian.
