The PositionThe Opportunity In this role, you will perform essential analytical testing on materials and pro-ducts to ensure they consistently meet our rigorous quality specifications and established standards. You will operate autonomously to maintain laboratory excellence, drive strategic initiatives, and support the seamless execution of manufacturing operations. Conduct comprehensive analyses on raw materials, packaging, bulk, intermediate, and finished products to ensure strict adhe- rence to quality standards. Evaluate specification conformance for various physical, performance, and chemical properties, accurately compiling data and documenting results. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, adapting tools, procedures, and techniques as needed to meet complex testing requirements. Revise and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure continuous compliance and operational efficiency. Drive strategic initiatives by participating in and occasionally lea-ding cross-functional project teams of limited to moderate scope. Mentor and train newer team members on applicable laboratory methods, safety practices, and testing procedures. Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure all production and departmental targets are consistently achieved. Who You Are You hold a High School Diploma with 5 years of related experience, an Associate’s Degree with 3 years of related experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of experience in a related field. Specialized or advanced training (and/or certification) in science, electronics, or a closely related technical discipline. Thorough and practical understanding of appropriate laboratory and chemical safety procedures. Capable of working autonomously to resolve daily operational problems, exercising strong judgment within defined procedures and escalating only the most complex issues. Strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a collaborative environment, with a proven ability to learn, develop professional expertise, and resolve a variety of issues. This is an (on-site/remote) position. Relocation benefits (are/are not) approved for this posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $49,300.00 -$91,500.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed in this link.
