Job Responsibilities: Performs preventative maintenance per published schedule. Performs corrective maintenance as needed in a timely fashion. Documents within GMP systems that all required tasks have been completed. Assist Engineers in carrying out engineering evaluations / troubleshooting. Oversees inventory on all spare parts and equipment consumables. Diagnose and resolve issues with motors, sensors, control systems, and related components. Follow OSHA standards and lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safe maintenance practices Setup production equipment. Train operators on the use of production equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation Ability to coordinate repairs and spare part purchases with vendors. Other duties as assigned. Keys to Success: Education High school diploma or equivalent required Experience 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience working as a mechanic or technician preferred Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment Familiarity with pharmaceutical packaging equipment (fillers, labeling machines, blister machines, bottle capping, induction sealers, card sealers. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to read and follow directions Ability to complete GMP documentation Ability to work independently Physical Requirements / Work Environment Thermo Fisher Scientific values the health and wellbeing of our employees. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
