This position reports to: Production Engineering Specialist __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and successful onboarding of digital solutions. Each day, you will support the adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the ideation workstreams from identifying and validating the needs to defining the development. The work model for the role is: onsite You will be mainly accountable for:Lead or support the overall planning of factory automated production lines, logic programming of non-standard equipment, and process optimization upgrades, covering full-process production lines including assembly, machining, testing and material handling. Support trial production and commissioning of automated equipment, track the rollout of automated processes, resolve equipment automation adaptation issues arising during trial and mass production, optimize automated production workflows, and improve production efficiency and product yield. Gain in-depth understanding of the operational department’s business requirements, lead or support the introduction, customized development and deployment of MES systems for new production lines. Meanwhile, take charge of daily operation and maintenance of the MES system, troubleshooting of each module, as well as system operation training and technical guidance for key users. Be responsible for data interconnection between automated equipment and MES. Connect PLC and industrial control units to deliver process recipe parameters and collect production data, ensure real-time upload of equipment parameters, and build an integrated data link connecting production automation and information systems. Qualifications for the roleBachelor's degree or above, major in computer, software engineering, automation, and related fields. Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and good oral and written English. Proficient in programming mainstream PLCs such as Siemens and Mitsubishi; familiar with mainstream MES platforms including Siemens and CM; skilled in at least one development language; well-versed in common industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA/DA and TCP/IP. Over 2 years of experience in automated production lines or MES system development within manufacturing enterprises, with a background in discrete manufacturing industries such as automotive, machinery and motors. Familiar with core business processes including production, material management and quality control, and capable of understanding factory operations.
