The Role This role underpins the firm’s strategies in Greece in response to the rapidly evolving compliance environment. You will work in close alignment with our colleagues across Legal, and reports to Greece Legal Lead. It is a role that will be filled by an experienced professional able to demonstrate expertise and experience in the areas of corporate law, corporate governance and compliance. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate leadership behaviours, which include adhering to Accenture’s Core Values. The successful candidate will be a graduate in law in Greece with strong background in compliance matters, namely data privacy, competition, anti-corruption, , anti-money laundering (AML), AI and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) regulations. This role will support business and corporate functions in a wide array of legal matters, and will involve providing legal advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing and implementing compliance programs. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice on a wide array of compliance matters, namely data privacy, anti-corruption, competition, AML, and ESG matters. Review of leasing agreements. First level of support for litigation issues and employment law issues. Responsible for all legal corporate matters (eg shareholders meetings, BoD resolutions etc) Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies. Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, in particular in the digital market or in regulated sectors. Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits. Support Legal contracting in assessing requirements in RFPs, preparing legal documents necessary for participation. Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of compliance in line with Accenture Code of Business Ethics. Collaborate with global and local teams in conducting internal investigations in cases of policy violations, and collaborate with other functions in liaising with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders. Legal Degree of Greek University . Admission to the Athens bar. Minimum of 8 years of experience in-house or in private practice, having gained experience in a multi-national corporate or law firm setting specialized in compliance and corporate legal matters. Familiarity with international compliance standards and ability to work in an international environment Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High ethical standards and integrity.
