Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Leads the local Supply Chain team with mostly Individuals/ Professionals in Local Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Local Procurement (Country 1-3, Plant 6-15), Coordinates local WHS (if applicable). Leads local Sales and Operations Planning Process for scope of responsibility and ensures that global processes are followed. Drives efficiency of flows from supply and execution to customer delivery by optimizing supply chain cost, processes, inventory, sales forecasting and customer interaction by considering specific customer requests and legal requirements. Participate in local projects (process improvements, complexity reduction, portfolio management, new SCM solutions, tender, Network Design). Maintains relationships with local external logistics providers and local suppliers (warehouses, assembly, forwarders and packaging). Monitors supplier performance and drives improvement activities. Additional Responsibilities Ensures an accurate material flow from suppliers to customers, which results in high stock accuracy; carries out yearly stock taking. First contacts for customs agents in country responsibility and supports FHCS audits and the resolution of quality issues. Monitors and improves relevant KPI’s on a regular base and leads corrective measures in cooperation with all relevant internal & external stakeholders. Ensure accurate local SCM Master data Maintenance Assist in supplier selection and performance evaluation. Organization Directly Reports to: Country or Plant Manager Functionally reports to: Regional / SBU Director SCM Number of direct reports: Country 1-3, Plant 6-15 Is member of the country or plant management team Interactions (internal & external) Internal: Regional and Global SCM, Regional/Global Procurement, Country SCM, Central Planning, Corporate QHSE, Manufacturing R&D, local other Plant/Country functions External: Customers & Distributors, Service providers (Warehouses, Assembly, Transport), Suppliers Qualifications: Professional Experience and Education Master or bachelor's in business administration, industrial engineering or comparable. > 2-3 years’ experience working in operational tasks, ideally in SCM and Customer Service of an international FMCG organization. Specific Knowledge Good knowledge in all elements of SCM Planning, Logistics, and Operational Management. Deep user knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of all relevant ERP and Planning systems (SAP, IBP, ...). Very good English skills. Basic to Advanced Language skills of local country language. Specific Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong drive, proactive, result-oriented, and eager to learn. Team players with very strong interpersonal and influencing skills enjoy working in an international and intercultural environment and a Matrix-organization. Good Leadership and Negotiation Skills.
