Job DescriptionThe Clinical Training Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing clinical training programs that support the success of the Acute Urology and Home Care sales teams. This role bridges the gap between clinical expertise and commercial strategy, ensuring that sales representatives and clinical team members are equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to effectively position and support our products in the field. The ideal candidate will take a consultative and strategic approach to training, professional development and customer experience. This may be delivered to new or existing customers in content areas that may change or evolve with the customer or organization’s needs and goals. Essential / Key Job Responsibilities: Training Program Development & Delivery Design and implement clinical training programs tailored to the needs of the Acute Urology and Home Care sales teams. Support onboarding for new hires, including clinical product training, and BD Clinical Connect Program. Conduct ongoing training sessions to reinforce clinical knowledge and address evolving market needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Commercial Excellence Sales Trainers, Marketing, Sales Leadership, and Clinical Leadership to ensure training content supports business strategy Serve as a clinical subject matter expert during product launches, sales meetings, and strategic planning sessions. Field Support & Coaching Provide in-field coaching and support to new associates, including ride-a longs and post-training reinforcement. Act as a liaison between the field and internal teams to identify knowledge gaps and training opportunities. Performance Measurement Track and report on training effectiveness using KPIs such as knowledge retention, sales performance, and field feedback. Continuously refine training strategies based on data and evolving business needs. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, or related field (RN or clinical background preferred). 3–5 years of experience in clinical education, sales training, or a related role within the medical device or healthcare industry. Strong understanding of urology and/or home care clinical environments. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel up to 50% (depending on business needs). Preferred Skills: Experience with LMS platforms and virtual training tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Articulate). Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design. Previous experience supporting sales teams in a matrixed organization. The employee frequently is required to verbally communicate with other associates. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
