Job Description: To support our Medical Team in Germany, we are looking for support as: Medical Manager / MSL Rare Diseases - hybrid function (f/m/d) - 12 months fixed-term - The Medical Manager/MSL is a field based scientific an medical expert in Rare Disease. She/he is an expert to external and internal stakeholders delivering non-promotional information exchange, supporting data and insight generation to provide patient-centric solutions. He/she will be responsible in engaging in high quality communications regarding the science and clinical applications of portfolio to variety of external stakeholders. She/he will supports the development of the national medical strategy taking into account the international strategy (franchise), in coordination with the local brand team and in consultation with the Medical team and Medical Director /Therapeutic Area Head. He/she will give input and share insights for the development of the consolidated product plan together with the brand team and successfully implement the medical activities of this plan. He/she presents the company to leading medical experts, professional societies and institutions in the respective indications. Focus will be on Serve as the scientific and medical expert for assigned products and indications, providing support to internal and external stakeholders. Drive the implementation of regional medical strategies and medical-scientific activities in alignment with national objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), professional societies, and patient organizations. Communicate and present medical-scientific data through congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and educational events. Design and deliver medical education programs and training for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Marketing, and other teams to support studies, publications, and strategic projects. Support the planning, initiation, execution, and oversight of local and international clinical studies and investigator-sponsored research. Manage medical projects and budgets effectively while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, industry codes, and company policies. Qualification requires Advanced Scientific, healthcare or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) is required Medical/paramedical Practice or Research career (hospital and/or hospital related, university research, pharmaceutical industry research or medical affairs) Proven experience and successful track record as an MSL or Medical Department Professional in a previous company, ideally in the therapeutic area of Rare Liver Disease Possessing experience in delivering scientific presentations and building relationships with thought leaders is strongly preferred Possess a deep understanding and ability to identify and proactively gather strategically relevant insights across multiple channels Be able to engage a broad range of healthcare stakeholders (incl. TLs, selected HCPs, payers and patient advocacy groups) in a high-level scientific exchange tailored to individual needs/preferences Be in a position to set up valuable TL engagement and communication plans that reflect cross-functional working.
