Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/. JWe are currently seeking an engineering working student to join our Innovation Excellence Team located in Aachen, Germany. Program Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension) Position Summary: The innovation excellence engineering working student provides foundational support in the development, testing, and lifecycle management of Impella Pumps, Accessories, and related technologies. This role offers an opportunity to learn and contribute to product design, validation, and continuous improvement while gaining valuable experience in a regulated MedTech environment. Key Responsibilities: Product Lifecycle & Sustaining Engineering Provide documentation support by creating and maintaining article specifications, work instructions, and related technical documentation. Help with operational activities related to product issues, field feedback, and escalation investigations, with a focus on analyzing existing systems and identifying potential design, process, and documentation gaps. Assist in executing basic design, testing, and validation activities under supervision. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to support project tasks. Assist in gathering and organizing technical data and documents needed for projects and audits. Support technical reviews and updates on product features. What you'll bring: Currently enrolled Bachelor's or Master's student in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Fluent in English and German Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in a regulated product environment. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
