Introduction to the Division /Function The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) provides advanced products that support materials science research and development, helping customers drive innovation and improve productivity. Our portfolio includes scientific instruments for designing, characterizing, and scaling materials from the laboratory to production. CAD consists of three main business units: Measurement Control & Sample Identification (MCS), Environmental & Process Monitoring (EPM), and Production, Process & Analytics (PPA). The MCS business unit includes Molecular Spectroscopy (MOL) and Field & Safety Instruments (FSI). The current position is part of the Molecular Spectroscopy portfolio, which includes the MarqMetrix All-in-One Process Raman Analyzer (MM AIO), FTIR, NIR, Raman Microscopy, IR Microscopy, UV-Vis, and NanoDrop products. These solutions support analytical laboratories across a wide range of industries, including petroleum and polymers, biopharma, pharmaceuticals, research and academia, government institutes, semiconductors, paints and chemicals, forensic investigations, and environmental testing. Role Description/Position Summary This role supports the growth of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) solutions, with a focus on the MarqMetrix All-in-One Process Raman Analyzer (MM AIO). Key responsibilities include conducting customer demonstrations, developing applications, validating methods, and providing technical consulting across India and neighboring markets. The role also delivers pre-sales and post-sales application support for the Molecular Spectroscopy portfolio, including FTIR, Raman, UV-Vis, and NIR systems Responsibilities Drive Raman-based Process Analytical Technology (PAT) solutions through application development, proof-of-concept studies and extended customer evaluations. Additionally Provide application support for FTIR, Raman, UV-Vis and NIR spectroscopy products. Conduct customer demonstrations, sample feasibility studies, application development and method validation. Deliver product training to customers, sales, distributors and service teams. Work closely with Sales, Service, Product Management and Global Application teams to provide technical solutions and resolve customer application challenges. Develop technical presentations and customer-facing collateral. Identify new application opportunities and support product launches, seminars and marketing initiatives. Maintain strong customer relationships and provide timely technical support throughout the sales cycle. Work closely with marketing team and sales team for marketing activities. Education and Experience: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 4–6 years of experience in analytical instrumentation, preferably in Molecular Spectroscopy and/or Process Analytical Technology (PAT). Experience working with spectroscopic techniques such as Raman, FTIR, NIR, or UV-Vis is preferred. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Requirement: Strong application knowledge of FTIR, Raman, UV-Vis and NIR spectroscopy. Knowledge of Raman-based PAT applications, chemometrics and process monitoring is desirable. Excellent presentation, communication and customer engagement skills. Ability to manage multiple customer projects and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
