WAREHOUSE OPERATOR - (Lubumbashi) Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC is a Sales Unit based in Lubumbashi within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, a Business Area and a leading supplier of equipment, tools, services, and support for the mining industry. Your Mission As a Warehouse Operator, you play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow, accuracy, and integrity of inventory within the workshop and warehouse operations. You are responsible for receiving, storing, handling, and issuing materials in accordance with company procedures, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Accurately receive goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and reported promptly. Safely bin, store, and organise inventory in designated warehouse locations in line with system requirements and inventory control procedures. Pick, pack, and issue materials in the correct quantities and condition to support workshop and customer requirements. Facilitate stock transfers between warehouses, stockrooms, and operational areas as required. Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently. Maintain complete and accurate records by properly filing all receiving, issuing, and inventory-related documentation. Identify and immediately report any stock shortages, damaged goods, or inventory variances. Inventory Control & Operational Support Participate in weekly cycle counts, stock verifications, and bin audits to maintain inventory accuracy. Support quarterly and annual stocktaking activities, ensuring compliance with inventory management standards. Assist with Goods Received Note (GRN) reconciliations and invoice follow-up processes related to material receipts and deliveries. Contribute to weekly delivery schedules, cross-docking activities, and other warehouse operational requirements. Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation is accurately completed, collected, and returned within the required timelines. Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Comply with all company Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ/EHS) policies, procedures, and standards. Actively contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organised warehouse and workshop environment. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in all daily activities. Your profile We are looking for a Congolese (DRC) citizen with a Certificate/ Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, a comprehensive background in a similar role within Logistics, and experience in a customer service role. To be successful in the role, you need a good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality As we act in a global context, you are good in both English and French, writing and speaking, and computer literacy and ERP knowledge are advantageous. Votre mission En tant qu’Opérateur d’entrepôt (magasinier), vous jouez un rôle clé dans la fluidité, la précision et l’intégrité des stocks au sein des opérations d’atelier et d’entrepôt. Vous êtes responsable de la réception, du stockage, de la manipulation et de la distribution des matériaux conformément aux procédures de l’entreprise, tout en maintenant des standards élevés de sécurité, de qualité et de service client. Responsabilités principalesRéceptionner les marchandises conformément aux bons de commande et documents de livraison, en signalant rapidement toute anomalie. Stocker et organiser l’inventaire dans les emplacements désignés selon les procédures de contrôle. Préparer et distribuer les matériaux en quantités et conditions correctes pour l’atelier et les clients. Faciliter les transferts de stock entre entrepôts, magasins et zones opérationnelles. Assister au chargement et déchargement des véhicules en toute sécurité. Maintenir une documentation précise sur la réception, la distribution et l’inventaire. Signaler immédiatement toute pénurie, marchandise endommagée ou variance d’inventaire. Contrôle des stocks et support opérationnelParticiper aux comptages cycliques hebdomadaires et aux audits pour garantir l’exactitude des stocks. Contribuer aux inventaires trimestriels et annuels. Assister aux rapprochements GRN et au suivi des factures liées aux réceptions. Participer aux plannings de livraison hebdomadaires et aux activités de cross-docking. Garantir que les preuves de livraison (POD) soient correctement complétées et retournées dans les délais. Votre profil Nous recherchons un citoyen congolais (RDC) titulaire d’un certificat ou diplôme en logistique ou gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, avec une solide expérience dans un rôle similaire et en service client. Vous devez comprendre l’importance des engagements clients et l’impact des retards ou de la mauvaise qualité sur la performance. Vous communiquez aisément en anglais et en français, à l’oral comme à l’écrit. La maîtrise des outils informatiques et des systèmes ERP est un atout.
