Job Details: Job Description: Intel IP Program Office is seeking a Software Engineer to build world class applications that enable Intel Foundry to securely manage, process, and share proprietary data. This role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, secure, and user friendly software solutions while working closely with cross functional teams across engineering, product, and domain experts. The ideal candidate is passionate about software engineering fundamentals, modern application development, and exploring emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance enterprise software platforms. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and infrastructure for managing proprietary and sensitive data. • Analyze existing applications, create technical design plans, and implement enhancements in collaboration with subject matter experts. • Ensure software solutions meet functional, performance, scalability, and security requirements. • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices. • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure high software quality and reliability. • Collaborate with UI/UX stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve usability and overall user experience. • Leverage Generative AI and LLMs to innovate and enhance software functionality. • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting activities. • Communicate technical concepts and design decisions clearly to technical and non technical stakeholders. ________________________________________ Behavioral Traits Skills • Strong organizational skills with adherence to file structures, naming conventions, and established development protocols. • Excellent self management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently. • Strong desire to learn new technologies and proactively identify opportunities to apply them. • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to executive, creative, and technical audiences. • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams while maintaining ownership of deliverables. ________________________________________ Minimum Qualifications • BE / BTech / MTech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including: o Object oriented design o Data structures and algorithms o Complexity analysis • Strong understanding of modern UI/UX principles in software development. • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code. • Ability to leverage LLMs and Generative AI to enhance and innovate software solutions. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities - Design and develop software applications using modern development methodologies. - Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure application reliability. - Analyze user stories and implement both functional and test code effectively. - Automate build and deployment processes for software applications. - Collaborate with product security engineers to complete secure development lifecycle tasks. - Review code for quality, reliability, and compliance with secure coding practices. - Interact with end users to gather system requirements and define necessary modifications. Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development OR a Master's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of hands-on experience OR a PhD in a relevant field with no prior professional experience. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. - Experience with full stack software frameworks and development practices. - Knowledge of agile methodology and DevOps processes. - Understanding of secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines. - Familiarity with software test automation tools and static code analysis techniques. Preferred Qualifications - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams. - Problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges. - Experience with database engineering and design patterns. - Familiarity with information security concepts and practices. • 5 years Experience with frontend and backend technologies such as Ruby on Rails, React, Python, or similar frameworks. • Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or enterprise scale software systems. • Exposure to secure data handling, authentication, and access control mechanisms. • Experience working in cross functional or globally distributed teams.
