This position reports to: Project Operations Manager __ Your Role and Responsibilities You will be leading the execution of projects with different complexity and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets and scheduling targets. - Work model: #LI-Hybrid In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: Defining, with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans. Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies. Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization, monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow. Identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing risk, and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Capturing, analyzing and sharing lessons learned throughout the project and ensuring that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed. Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contracting close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer. Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procure required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Support Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims and project changes and act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicating with all stakeholders. Qualifications for the Role You have an engineering background. You have senior experience in the role. You like working with proactivity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Good knowledge in automation systems about DCS. You are able to work under pressure, to operate in a resource constrained environment, to manage many projects concurrently, to set priorities, and to be goal oriented. You have ownership and commitment in all of your tasks. You have the ability to understand customer needs. You at ease communicating in Italian and English (French and/or Spanish will be a plus). Availability to short trips in Italy and abroad. Compensation Package As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position: Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico Minimum annual salary: € 53.000 Variable Pay: AIP target 10% + Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus The offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.
