Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact As a Module Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting Intel's high-volume manufacturing processes that enable device miniaturization and mass production of integrated circuits. On a day-to-day basis, you will own and optimize manufacturing equipment and processes, conduct tests and measurements to ensure quality and efficiency, and work towards continuous improvements in safety, productivity, and defect control. Your work will directly contribute to the successful ramp-up of factory operations and the seamless transfer of technology across Intel's global manufacturing sites. Business group You will be part of Intel's Manufacturing Operations team, which is dedicated to delivering high-quality manufacturing capabilities to support Intel's advanced technology products. This group focuses on driving operational excellence by innovating process improvements, enhancing equipment reliability, and enabling high-volume production that aligns with Intel's goals for efficiency, quality, and scalability. Key Responsibilities - Own and manage critical high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure efficient operations and rapid device miniaturization. - Conduct tests and measurements to monitor equipment and process performance, ensuring control over dimensions and defectivity. - Recommend and implement modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and product output. - Perform maintenance and repair activities on equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and cost indicators are met. - Lead the continuous improvement of equipment and processes, addressing performance metrics such as safety, productivity, defects, and yield. - Collaborate with global manufacturing sites to transfer technology, provide training, and ensure matched processing outcomes. - Develop and optimize systems to prevent excursions and detect discrepant material or equipment activities. - Support factory ramps by overseeing equipment installation, conversion, and qualification to meet critical schedules and manufacturing readiness standards. Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or semiconductor processes, demonstrated through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training OR a Master's degree in engineering with no prior professional experience. - Proficiency in manufacturing process control and semiconductor equipment operations. - Familiarity with equipment monitoring and excursion management techniques. - Basic problem-solving and data analytics skills to identify and implement solutions effectively. - Ability to perform technical analysis and troubleshoot equipment issues in real-time. Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. - Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills to manage tasks and coordinate across teams. - Positive attitude with a proactive mindset and adaptability to handle ambiguity. - Previous experience in semiconductor manufacturing or equipment operations is a plus. - Interest in learning and developing technical competencies further.
