Job summary The Red Hat Sales team is seeking a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect to join us in Germany. In this role, you will support the Ansible Sales team and provide pre-sales technical support to prospects. You'll work with key customers both on site and remotely to build a relationship of trust and confidence between Red Hat and the customers' engineering, development, and operations teams. To be successful, you'll need to gain an understanding of the customers business needs and align those needs with the capabilities of our solutions. You will also play a crucial role in bringing together internal cross-functional teams to satisfy our most challenging customers. You'll serve as the customer advocate with these teams to architect the best solution and ensure that it is implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way. What you will do Lead the technical validation process with customers, including presentations and demonstrations of our offerings and solutions, technical deep dive sessions and workshops Delivering successful discovery, analysis and design workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence the customers use cases and architecture design decisions. Demonstrate thought leadership in the Automation community by contributing to white papers, webinars; code contributions to relevant projects; and speaking at industry events and Red Hat conferences. Deliver successful Red Hat Ansible workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence customer use cases and architecture design decisions. Scope evaluations and guide customers through successful proofs of concept and pilot deployments. Work closely with internal product teams, Product Engineering, Professional Services, Support, and Sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat’s products Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk. Demonstrate thought leadership in the Ansible communities by producing white papers, webinars, etc., and speaking at industry leading conferences. What you will bring 3+ years of experience working in the Automation space 3-5 years of experience in a developer, solution architect, enterprise architect, or consulting delivery role, with a focus on Automation A solid foundation of Automation market trends and experience with customers at C-level - Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, with demonstrable capability in automating infrastructure, networking (esp. Cisco), and security solutions Experience in architecting and implementing automation solutions such as Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, Terraform, etc. Good knowledge of UNIX or Linux systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Satellite, and related technologies Proven record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout large enterprise IT organizations Ability to orchestrate proofs of concept from initiation to business closure stages Red Hat Certification (Red Hat Certified Engineer, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Managing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform, or Red Hat Certified Architect) is highly desirable - Degree in Computing and/or Engineering is desirable #LI-ZA1 About Red Hat Red Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
