The Technician I, Sterile Production Operations is responsible for supporting aseptic manufacturing operations at Alcon's ASPEX facility in Fort Worth, TX by performing technical production activities related to the processing and sterile filling of pharmaceutical products while ensuring compliance with cGMP, GDP, SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role safely operates manufacturing equipment, maintains aseptic environments, completes required documentation, troubleshoots minor equipment issues, and supports efficient production operations while maintaining the highest standards of product quality, safety, and compliance. Specifics Include: Perform technical manufacturing activities related to the processing, production, and sterile filling of pharmaceutical products in accordance with cGMP and regulatory requirements. Set up, start up, operate, monitor, change over, and shut down fill room equipment and production lines. Operate manufacturing equipment includes sterile filling systems, autoclaves, filtration apparatus, ovens, stills, and related production equipment. Prepare, sanitize, and maintain fill suites, equipment, contact surfaces, and ancillary areas according to established procedures and aseptic standards. Perform routine and major cleanings of aseptic manufacturing areas. Prepare fill room materials and equipment for sterilization, including filters, sanitization equipment, and production components. Handle raw materials, work-in-process materials, and finished products in accordance with established procedures. Troubleshoot minor equipment and aseptic processing issues, escalating concerns to maintenance or leadership when appropriate. Complete, review, and close production documentation, including Manufacturing Batch Records (MBRs), SOPs, logbooks, sampling records, and supporting documentation. Perform product inspections, participate in quality checks, investigate deviations, and ensure accurate documentation to support product quality and compliance. Maintain good aseptic technique and adherence to all operational, safety, and quality requirements. Perform routine equipment maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing operation. Complete all required training and contribute to maintaining a compliant, inspection-ready manufacturing environment.
