At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related engineering discipline Experience 10+ years in QA / software testing Experience in PLM or materials domain preferred Skills & Competencies Strong expertise in manual testing (ISTQB preferred) Understanding of web-based application testing and CAE/FEA concepts Exposure to automation tools (Selenium/Playwright preferred) Working knowledge of Windows/Linux and databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) Basic programming in Java, Python, or JavaScript Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end testing for web-based engineering applications Design and execute functional and non-functional test strategies Perform requirement analysis, test design, execution, and defect tracking Act as customer-facing technical lead for issue analysis and solutioning Support and contribute to automation and AI-driven testing initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery Drive improvements in test coverage and efficiency Preferred Agile/Scrum exposure Experience with security testing and CI/CD tools We’re doing work that matters.
