This position reports to: Finance Manager __ Your role and responsibilities The Marketing and Sales Finance Manager for Business Line (BL) Low Voltage Switchgear Systems (LVS) in Southeast Asia (SEA) acts as a business partner to the BL APAC Regional Marketing and Sales manager to optimize financial performance of the local units and the Marketing and Sales organization in the region. Supports effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data and recommending the most appropriate actions to management. This role contributes to the Low Voltage Switchgear Systems Business Line (BL LVS 3101) as well as to the Critical Power Business Line (BL CP 4178) within the Smart Power Division (ELSP) Electrifica-tion Business Area (EL). Main stakeholders are the BL LVS APAC Marketing and Sales Manager and the Global Business Line Finance Managers for LVS and CP. The work model is hybrid, preferred location is ABB Malaysia. This is a regional role covering all the LVS and CP reporting units in the region (mainly Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam) and is combined with the local finance responsibility for Malaysia and Singapore. In this role, the position reports to the Global BL LVS Finance Manager and functionally to the BL LVS APAC Market-ing and Sales Manager. You will be mainly accountable for: Translating financial position into actions and measurable targets to enhance financial return. Monitoring the financial performance, providing insight and analysis to support operational decision making to enhance the cost structure, sales productivity and efficiency. Identifying financial issues and advising management team on action plans and operational strategies. Supervising the demand (DOE) and supply view (Atlas/SAC) forecasting, including the alignment with supplying Manufacturing Units. Supporting the tender and project execution in adherence to internal collaboration principles with supplying Manufacturing Units, including optimized contractual set up, cash clow, currency hedging if applicable, end-to-end (E2E) costing, risk assessment / provisioning, etc. Managing the monthly closing/reporting (Source/CFIN/ABACUS) following defined standards (A&RP) and financial closing schedules. Responsible for the transparency in financial reporting (Source/CFIN/ABACUS) and disclosures (GRCM) in adherence to Internal Control procedures and following the applicable Group, Division Country standards, regulations and guidelines (A&RP and USGAAP). Supporting the remediation of identified deficiencies (GRCM) within the area of responsibility. Supporting the development, staffing, and direction of the finance organization in the region in collaboration with HR Business Partners, Regional M&S Manager and Global BL Finance Manager. Qualifications for the role Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or Economics, or similar. 5-10 years of experience in business finance management with profit and loss responsibility. Desired experience in industrial medium to large multinational companies as well as solid US GAAP expertise. Proven track record operating within global organization and matrix setting, dealing with many stakeholders in different departments and countries with intercultural sensitivity and effectiveness with strong business partnering. Strong collaboration and managerial skills, team player. Excellent written and spoken English skills, additional language(s) is of advantage. What's in it for you?
