Job Description SummaryGlobal Service Lead, Fleet Solutions is responsible for defining, designing, and integrating service solutions for GE HealthCare Imaging Fleet Solutions products throughout the product lifecycle. As a core member of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, this role ensures service requirements, serviceability, diagnostics, support processes, training, and field readiness are fully integrated into product development and deployment. The role serves as the global service representative across Product Management, Engineering, Service Operations, Commercial, Quality, and Regulatory teams, driving end-to-end service design and ensuring products are supportable, scalable, reliable, and ready for successful global adoption. Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities: Service Design & Integration Lead the design and integration of service solutions across the Fleet Solutions portfolio. Define service requirements, workflows, diagnostics, support models, and serviceability strategies during product development. Ensure service requirements are incorporated into product architecture, system design, and program execution plans. Establish Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) strategies, troubleshooting frameworks, and service delivery models. New Product Introduction (NPI) Leadership Represent Service as a core member of cross-functional product development teams. Drive service readiness activities for NPIs, ensuring successful launch and adoption across global regions. Supporting the Program Manager and working with the Lead System Designer, ensures that service requirements and outputs integrate properly within the product/program. Develop and execute service validation plans, field readiness assessments, and deployment strategies. Ensure service deliverables are integrated into the Integrated Program Plan and product release milestones. Development and delivery of service documentation and training to ensure success of the product over the entire life cycle and global regions. Work with the field service team to capture feedback and incorporating this feedback into future releases. Ability to proactively manage cross-functional interdependencies to maximize team efficiency and avoid gaps/delays in execution. Service Lifecycle Management Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Service Operations to improve fleet reliability, service efficiency, and customer outcomes. Monitor installed base performance and identify opportunities to enhance serviceability, diagnostics, and support processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on field feedback, operational data, and customer insights. Support lifecycle planning, upgrades, service campaigns, and product enhancements. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, Service Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, and Training organizations. Capture field service feedback and translate operational needs into actionable product and service requirements. Partner with modality service teams and STO to drive standardized service processes and service system enhancements. Lead issue resolution and alignment across a highly matrixed global organization. Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with Design Controls, Design History File (DHF), Quality Management System (QMS), and regulatory requirements. Support risk management, reliability planning, and service-related regulatory deliverables. Drive Design for Serviceability (DFS) and Design for Reliability (DFR) principles throughout product development. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor' s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical discipline. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Service Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Development, Technical Program Management, or related functions. Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a global environment. Demonstrated experience translating customer and service needs into system and product requirements. Experience supporting new product introductions and product lifecycle management. Familiarity with medical device quality and regulatory requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE HealthCare imaging systems, digital solutions, or fleet management offerings. Strong understanding of serviceability, diagnostics, remote support, and service operations. Experience with Design for Serviceability (DFS) and Design for Reliability (DFR) methodologies. Familiarity with FDA, ISO, and medical device development processes. Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent). Desired Characteristics: Strong systems thinker with an end-to-end customer and service mindset. Proven ability to influence across a matrixed organization. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to bridge engineering and operational teams.
