DESCRIPTION: Join our collaborative R&D team as an Electrical Engineer III, where you'll help develop innovative laboratory and analytical instruments that enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Working with diverse teams across our organization, you'll design and implement sophisticated electrical and electronic systems for our product portfolio, from initial concept through production release. You'll solve complex technical challenges while ensuring our solutions meet rigorous quality, regulatory, and performance requirements. REQUIREMENTS: • Advanced Degree plus 5 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in hands-on electrical/electronic engineering experience in product development • Preferred Fields of Study: Electrical Engineering or related field • Expert knowledge in at least one of the following domain knowledges: high-precision analog, highspeed digital, or high voltage power generator (e.g. 30kV) • Hands on working skills in schematic design and capability to guide partner to layout. • Strong experience with microcontroller/embedded systems design and development • Experience designing for EMC compliance and product safety standards (UL, CE, etc.) • Proven ability to develop and validate designs from concept through manufacturing • Expertise in test equipment usage (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.) • Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet) • Experience with DFM, DFT, and DFR methodologies • Strong documentation and technical writing abilities • Excellent team collaboration skills • Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities • Proficiency in English is beneficial • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed • Experience with laboratory/analytical instruments preferred
