About the Role:Strategic Business Partner to the Commercial Organization. Be part of a team that helps set, track and align business strategy, Sales Teams and key impactful Stakeholders for Thermo Fisher Scientific ANZ What You'll Do:FP&A Analysis and Reporting: Through data analytics and reporting. support the sales team to optimize time in field, direct them to opportunities, and enable them to track their on-going performance. Preparation and distribution of business performance reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to stakeholders. Provide gap analysis and interpretation of management reports on sales trends, margin and commercial effectiveness. Prepare deep dive analysis of the business to enable understanding of divisional performances, large deal opportunities, run rate trending and overall performance vs forecast and annual plan. Assist in preparation and presentation of key business performance review decks Own system query development, providing key reports and drive reporting process improvement Budgeting / Annual operating plan (AOP): Work with commercial teams to provide robust data and analytics to enable Operating and Strategic planning and implementation. Key team member leading planning, preparing, consolidation and reporting of budget. Involved in planning to ensure achievable comprehensive plan is developed Work with key stakeholders in developing revenue plans for assigned business units. Business unit finance lead for developing, aligning and presenting annual revenue and operating expense budget Facilitate the setup of annual incentive targets partnering commercial leaders EducationDegree in Finance or Business required. CPA desirable ExperienceMinimum of 5 years’ experience in financial systems and financial analysis role Knowledge of Power BI, Excel required; VBA, Access, smart analytics reporting suites preferred Previous experience with Variable Compensation, Phocas and Hyperion systems highly desirable Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesExcellent communication skills – verbal and written. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders demanding varied outputs. Strong systems focus with experience in implementing and managing systems. Experience in CMR, Hyperion, E1 (JD Edwards) is highly desirable.
