Meet the TeamThe Compliance Program Management (CPM) team enables global market access for Cisco products by ensuring compliance requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle. We collaborate with Engineering, Business Units, EMC, Safety, Mechanical Engineering, Country Managers, Regulatory Agencies, and Corporate Compliance teams to secure country approvals, ensure product readiness, and support successful product launches worldwide. As a Compliance Program Manager, you will drive compliance activities from product concept through First Hardware Ship (FHS) and sustainment. You will coordinate regulatory approvals, manage compliance deliverables, review product labels, oversee key milestones, and communicate compliance readiness to stakeholders and leadership. Your ImpactEnsure Global Access: Validate that Cisco products meet regulatory requirements for all markets in which they are sold. Lead Approvals: Manage country approval activities by collaborating with Country Managers, Regulatory Agencies, and Corporate Compliance teams. Drive Milestones: Plan and execute compliance activities aligned with product development milestones, including DVT, AO, and First Hardware Ship (FHS). Coordinate Compliance: Oversee EMC and Safety compliance activities, including obtaining and validating required test reports and supporting documentation. Manage Workflows: Submit and manage country approval requests through Cisco compliance systems and approval workflows. Ensure Accuracy: Review and approve product labels to ensure proper Product IDs (PIDs) and country approval logos are included prior to release. Foster Collaboration: Partner with Mechanical Product Engineers, Engineering PMs, Business Units, EMC, Safety, and Marketing teams to drive compliance readiness. Monitor Risks: Track compliance risks, approval status, and certification timelines, ensuring issues are communicated and escalated effectively. Present Results: Prepare and present compliance status, timelines, risks, and readiness information during Executive Commitment (EC) reviews. Maintain Documentation: Manage compliance documentation, certification records, test reports, and approval artifacts throughout the product lifecycle. Drive Innovation: Implement process improvements and leverage automation and AI tools to enhance compliance execution, reporting, and operational efficiency. Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, Compliance, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Compliance Management, Regulatory Programs, Product Operations, Project Management, Quality Systems, or related functions. Experience coordinating cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Experience managing project schedules, milestones, risks, and action items. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience presenting program status and risks to leadership teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. Demonstrated ability to operate independently and drive execution. Preferred Qualifications7+ years of experience in Compliance Program Management, Regulatory Affairs, Product Compliance, Quality Management, Program Management, or related fields. Experience supporting hardware development programs and product lifecycle management. Familiarity with EMC, Safety, Regulatory, Certification, or Country Approval processes. Experience supporting product launches in a global environment. Knowledge of compliance documentation, certification requirements, and audit readiness practices. Experience preparing Executive Commitment (EC) presentations and leadership updates. Experience using compliance, workflow, and project management systems. PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Quality, Compliance, or related certifications. Experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot or other AI productivity tools to improve reporting, communication, and operational efficiency. Why Cisco?
