THE ROLE: We are seeking a Procurement Strategic Sourcing Manager based in Secaucus, NJ, or Austin, TX, to lead NPI procurement activities for sheet metal mechanical components. In this role, you will serve as the project procurement manager, connecting key MECH suppliers with engineering teams to support critical procurement activities across major design milestones. You will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, partnering closely with engineering, planning, and procurement teams to keep projects on schedule and support time-to-market goals. This opportunity will allow you to strengthen your vendor management expertise while contributing directly to successful new product introductions and risk mitigation across a complex, dynamic supply chain. THE PERSON: You are a detail-oriented and highly organized professional with deep supplier management experience and strong knowledge of mechanical components. You proactively manage schedule changes based on design status and project timelines, coordinating closely with suppliers, demand planning, and engineering teams to secure project schedules, reduce shortages and excess inventory, and mitigate supply chain risks. You are skilled at tracking BOMs and part numbers, releasing forecasts and demand orders, and negotiating delivery schedules with confidence. With a collaborative mindset and strong execution focus, you help drive alignment and clear communication in a deadline-driven, cross-functional environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate knowledge of BOM structure and design processes in server and rack environments. Demonstrate understanding of mechanical manufacturing process, such as sheet metal, die casting, plastic injection mold, CNC, NCT, MIM, and etc. Demonstrate the knowledge of NPI process for server product segment. Utilize advanced analytical and communication skills to support cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving. Manage multiple priorities effectively, demonstrating expert multitasking and time management abilities. Apply proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, to support data analysis and presentations. Plan and organize activities using structured tracking tools to ensure project progress and accountability. Take proactive ownership of issues, driving timely resolution and follow-through until completion. Collaborate effectively across teams and departments to achieve company goals and deliver results. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Proven Industry experience in the ODM/OEM Manufacturing or Server System Solution industry. Direct experience in supply chain function is a plus. Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups. Proficiency in English and bilingual in Mandarin preferred. Proficiency in procurement and supply chain principles and skills. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Industrial Engineering Management/Technology Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
