Job Description: Role Overview Are you ready to spearhead critical, large-scale environmental initiatives that directly shape the future of aviation? We are seeking an exceptional Substance Project Leader to manage our high-stakes in Substance Portfolio. In this role, you will lead massive, complex substitution projects across our industrial environment. You will ensure that operations remain sustainable, safe, and fully compliant with European substance policies, without ever compromising on aircraft performance. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategy & Financial GovernanceLong-Term Roadmap: Define and drive the 5-year industrial roadmap and establish robust deployment strategies. Financial Control: Manage complex budgets and financial flows forecast on Headcount & Budget, SLA, and Statements of Work (SoW). Governance Deployment: Implement and enforce strict project governance across the portfolio. 2. Large-Scale Project & Risk ManagementPortfolio Oversight: Oversee substance substitution projects from qualification through to industrial deployment. Risk & Opportunity (R&O): Lead proactive R&O management to secure project timelines and performance targets. Methodology Mastery: Coach and mentor project leaders utilizing Lean PLM and Agile methodologies. 3. Transnational Leadership & Cross-Functional CoordinationNetwork Animation: Lead and inspire a transnational network of Local Substance Leaders to ensure deployment of the project Operational Alignment: Coordinate Manufacturing Operations activities. Industrial Handover: Manage critical plant and Final Assembly Line (FAL) handover dossiers to ensure flawless transition to operations. 4. Compliance, Safety & Performance Transparency Safety First: Prioritize and deploy projects that enhance employee safety and protect our workers. Regulatory Compliance: Secure strict adherence to environmental regulations and substance policies. Stakeholder Transparency: Deliver rigorous KPI reporting and maintain absolute cross-functional transparency across Procurement, Finance, and Quality. Required Profile & QualificationsProject Management Expertise : A certification in Project Management and/or an Agile certification (such as ScrumMaster®) is recommended to successfully steer this portfolio. Transnational Leadership: A proven track record of leading and animating multifunctional, and transnational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and best practices. Process Improvement: A strong background in defining, improving, and optimizing methods, processes, and tools, with practical experience and to ensure strict process adherence. Stakeholder & Supplier Relations: Extensive experience acting as a strategic interface between senior stakeholder expectations and team delivery, while managing compliance and performance with internal and external partners. Desired Skills & Attributes Strategic Vision: A strategic thinker with the proven ability to translate complex environmental mandates into clear goals and executable roadmaps. Change Management Catalyst: Adept at navigating organizational complexity, managing cultural change, and overcoming resistance in a fast-paced, transnational environment. Master Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to create, deploy, and disseminate communication plans to wide, diverse audiences.
