Your Impact Full-Stack Ownership: Lead the development of end-to-end features, from intuitive front-end interfaces to robust back-end services and database schema design. Operational Excellence: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies to ensure high availability and platform reliability. Security-First Development: Integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle, ensuring compliance and protection against vulnerabilities. Architectural Contributions: Collaborate with key stakeholders to design scalable system architectures that support long-term growth and performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a technical bridge between product, design, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and code reviews to team members to foster a culture of engineering excellence. Minimum Qualifications Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a deep understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js) and back-end runtimes (e.g., Node.js, Python/FastAPI, or Go, Java). Data Management: Strong proficiency in relational databases (Mongo, PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with caching strategies (Redis). Infrastructure & DevOps: Practical experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipeline management. Security Mindset: Demonstrated experience addressing security gaps, managing dependencies, and working with security scanning tools. Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks and system-level issues in production environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-native development (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation). Background in managing or contributing to large-scale distributed systems. Experience with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana). Why Cisco?
