You will be a core member of the Software Engineering Governance (SEG) team, where our primary focus is enabling developers across the organization to deliver value with unprecedented speed and uncompromising standards. In this role, you will translate business strategy into technical reality. You will identify emerging tech trends, evaluate their potential, and chart the course of action required to achieve our team’s goals. Qualification & Experience: We seek out curious minds. Engineering graduate or post-graduate degree. 4+ years of professional experience in developing, delivering, and managing scalable IT solutions. Proven ability to work closely with Product Owners to analyze, assess, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Proven track record of working within Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban). Essential Skills Strong grasp of software development lifecycles, design patterns, and architectural principles. Proven track record of building, maintaining, and scaling complex applications. Backend: Advanced coding abilities using Python and its related frameworks. Frontend: Strong experience with TypeScript, specifically Node.js and React ecosystems. Databases: Solid understanding of relational database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL). Environment: Proficiency in major IDEs (IntelliJ, PyCharm, VS Code) and scripting (Linux Shell, PowerShell). Deep knowledge of containerization (Docker) and modern CI/CD practices. Proficiency with standard DevOps toolchains (Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence). Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS is highly preferred). Advanced proficiency leveraging AI coding assistants for day-to-day development. Hands-on experience building and utilizing Model Context Protocols (MCPs) and AI-driven skills. Additional: Experience building Developer Experience (DevEx) tooling. Strong conceptual understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and how they function. Relevant AWS certifications. Exceptional technical writing skills for creating clear documentation and guidelines. Responsibilities: Architecture & Development: Design and develop highly scalable solutions that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements. End-to-End Delivery: Participate in the full software lifecycle—designing, implementing, testing, documenting, and operating internal libraries and frameworks. Quality Assurance: Implement robust test automation across all layers, including unit, functional, security, load, and performance testing. Automation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fully automated, seamless deployments across Development, QA, and Production environments. Developer Experience (DevEx): Package, maintain, and deploy high-quality developer tooling. Publish comprehensive technical standards and guidelines. Mentorship & Tech Leadership: Coach and enable fellow software engineers. Conduct workshops and events to share best practices. Innovation: Continuously monitor technological trends (tech watch) and propose state-of-the-art solutions to keep the team ahead of the curve. Success Metrics: Success will be measured in a variety of areas, including but not limited to Consistently deliver high-quality projects on time with a "first-time-right" standard. Introduce and implement innovative, cost-effective technical solutions. Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with globally distributed teams. Achieve high levels of satisfaction from internal stakeholders and development teams.
