Salary Range: €66,918.00 - €112,600.00 Band Level 4 Job Description Summary #LiHybrid Location: Schaftenau, Austria. The Senior Manufacturing Systems Expert provides technical expertise in support of all issues linked to electronic batch records (eBRs). This person is the MES Expert supporting MES deployment, implementation and continuous improvement in the Manufacturing Units and providing shop floor routine technical support. Job Description Major accountabilities: Support and Lead Digitalization Projects (e.g. Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) ...). Assisting users in Drug Product Manufacturing with the operation of other computerized systems in production. Support and Lead of Site IT relevant projects (e.g. Robotics, automation initiatives,…). Alignment with external Suppliers / Stakeholders in regards of Business / Site requirements. Development and Execution of internal Projects and Stakeholders (e.g. Harmonization of Processes in the area of DPS further rollout of established systems (e.g. MES,....). Execution of IQ/OQ/PQ ... Testing, Documentation, Compliance. Initiation and Evaluation including Coordination; Change and CAPA Management (Agile Changes). Essential requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a comparable field. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a GMP manufacturing environment. IT/Automation expertise. Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. Analytical mindset. Fluent in German and English. For this position the minimum salary is €65,605.54 /year (on a full time basis). We also offer a potential market oriented excess payment in line with your experience and qualifications. The salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. Further details will be provided during the application process.
