Must have skills : BMC Helix ITSM Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires acting as the main liaison for project activities, coordinating efforts to ensure seamless integration and functionality. The position demands proactive engagement with various stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables, while overseeing the progress and quality of the software solutions being developed. The engineer continuously monitors project milestones and adapts plans to meet evolving requirements, ensuring that the applications meet the intended business needs and technical standards. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery. - Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and software quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BMC Helix ITSM. - Strong knowledge of IT service management processes and best practices. - Experience in application design, configuration, and customization within ITSM platforms. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ITSM solutions. - Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs to connect ITSM with other enterprise systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
