This position reports to: Regional Service Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will drive the service sales function in collaboration with the service sales and service team. You will generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area(s). Focuses on Installed Base (IB) penetration and sells the entire Service portfolio for Drives, Motors and Electrification in collaboration with other ABB service units. Builds long-term customer relationships and ensures immediate response to specific customer needs and issues by promoting lifecycle management, modernization, preventive maintenance, digital solutions, and value-added services. The work model for this role is: #LI-Hybrid Driving Installed Base (IB) penetration by promoting ABB's service portfolio for Drives, Motors, and Electrification, including preventive and predictive maintenance, lifecycle services, spare parts, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, modernization, digital solutions, and service agreements. Identifying and develop new service sales opportunities by leveraging the Installed Base database, customer asset lifecycle, market trends, and operational needs. Developing and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets across assigned customers and market segments. Building trusted customer relationships by understanding operational challenges and delivering value-based service solutions that improve reliability, productivity, energy efficiency, sustainability, and asset performance. Conducting regular customer visits, account reviews, presentations, seminars, and marketing activities to strengthen customer engagement and expand ABB's service footprint. Supporting commercial and technical risk assessments, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and successful project handover in accordance with ABB policies. Qualifications for the role Diploma, Higher National Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent. Knowledge and/or experience in Drives, Electric Motors, Power Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electrification, or Asset Management are preferred. 1 to 5 years of experience in service sales, technical sales, field service, or application engineering within industrial automation, electrical systems, drives, motors, or electrification. Experience with products and products such as Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Drives, Electric Motors, Motor Control Centers (MCC), MV Switchgear, etc. Proven experience in Installed Base (IB) penetration, lifecycle management, service agreements, modernization, upgrades, and aftermarket service sales. Experience working with customers in industries such as pulp & paper, mining, metals, utilities, water, cement, oil & gas, or general manufacturing is preferred.
