Position Summary As the Sourcing Manager Packaging for the EMEA region, you will be a key member of FMC's Global Procurement Group, responsible for managing packaging sourcing and category management activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies, drive supplier performance, lead commercial negotiations, and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and continuous improvement. Working closely with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and procurement stakeholders, you will build strong supplier partnerships, manage contracts, analyse market trends, and support the delivery of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions that contribute to FMC's business objectives. The role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, international environment while collaborating with teams across the global organisation. Location: Geneva, Switzerland Main Responsibilities: Develop and implement packaging sourcing strategies across the EMEA region. Lead sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, bid analysis, and supplier selection. Build and maintain strategic relationships with packaging suppliers. Negotiate supplier agreements and manage the contract lifecycle. Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through market and spend analysis. Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance stakeholders to support business objectives. Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Analyse market trends, industry developments, and innovation opportunities within packaging. Mandatory Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, Operations, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, commercial, or operations roles within a multinational environment. 3+ years of experience managing packaging categories or related category management responsibilities. Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and packaging supply markets. Proven experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and contract management activities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Professional proficiency in English and experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP. Experience within agriculture, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or a related industry is advantageous. MBA, procurement certifications (CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, CPM), sustainability knowledge, consulting experience, and additional language skills are beneficial.
