As a Technical Specialist SWA you will be Roche’s focal point for the installation, technical release, and support of analytical systems and laboratory automation. About the opportunity: Lead installation and relocation of Roche SWA (Serum Work Area) analytical instruments and basic automation instruments. Technical knowledge transfer to other Field Service Engineers. Technical release of analytical systems for laboratory use, with IQ and OQ implementation process. Independent analysis and resolution of common questions and issues related to installations, referring more complex matters to higher levels. Awareness of new service bulletins, urgent news from Global Customer Support (GCS), and other forums. Close collaboration with RCSC and affiliates to share technical experiences, implement new ways of working, and promote teamwork across borders. Support for the coordination of service at the customer site, as well as general/technical advice to service coordination and timely/accurate data recording in CRM. Ensuring all regional activities are documented in compliance with quality procedures, monitoring local reports, costs, and mandatory trainings. Who you are: Basic knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, Information Technology, and Networking. Excellent analytical, problem analysis, and decision-making skills, as well as effective planning, organizational, and time management skills. Customer service orientation, mastering written/verbal communication, organization, and prioritization skills. Fluency English and Portuguese (verbal and written). Valid driver’s license. Open for frequent travels both local and regional (on average, 80% travel required, which could last the entire week). Degree with full technical higher education in Biomedical Engineering, Precision Mechanics, Electronics, Information Technology, Medical Technology, or related specialties.
