Job Description SummaryThe Harvest Operations Specialist plays a key operational role within the Service Repair Operations (SRO) team. Harvest Operations supports GE HealthCare's circularity strategy by recovering valuable components from returned medical imaging systems such as CT, MRI, and X-ray equipment. Once a system is returned to GE HealthCare, it enters the Harvest process, where it is tested, processed, and disassembled so reusable components can be recovered and returned to the service supply chain. As a Harvest Operations Specialist, you will coordinate this process, working closely with Service, Asset Recovery, Logistics, Engineer and Sales teams to ensure systems are properly tested, documented, processed, and delivered according to quality and operational requirements. The role combines technical understanding, stakeholder management, operational coordination, reporting, and problem-solving, with each returned system being managed as an individual project. Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities Track planning of systems deinstallations across Europe and coordinate with Sales and Service teams. Coordinate with the Asset Recovery team for all identified Harvest opportunities and ensure smooth transition of returned systems into the Harvest process. Coordinate with Field Service Engineers to ensure testing activities are completed and test report readiness is optimized. Support the Harvest Leader in production planning and operational prioritization activities. Drive yield maximization initiatives and support operational process improvements. Support NPI implementation activities. Coordinate the Blitz PC Process (test reports, opportunities, inspections, site checklists). Support remotely Field Service Engineers during testing activities for high-value systems. Support systems deinstallations to ensure EHS and Quality requirements are met. Coordinate with the Asset Recovery Logistics Leader to ensure systems are returned from customer sites to Harvest operations in a timely and compliant manner. Monitor operational issues, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate resolution with the relevant stakeholders. Prepare reports, KPI analyses, and operational insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement activities. Provide forecasts and performance updates to the Harvest Operations Leader and support buyback strategy discussions. Support the daily workload planning of Harvest technicians and help resolve operational issues related to extraction, acceptance, packaging, and shipment activities. Be responsible for waste management, ADR, and recycling company administration for the site. Follow and respect GE HealthCare Quality Policy, QMS standards, EHS rules, and procedures. Required Qualifications A BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience/knowledge. Advanced level of English. Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and driving activities across different functions. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with KPIs, operational reports, and performance data. Strong communication skills and ability to work with multifunctional and international teams. Good problem-solving and influencing skills.
