Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably. Our inspiring and caring environment forms a global community that celebrates diversity and individuality. We encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster your professional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions. The Director, Global Commercial Systems Training & Onboarding is responsible for improving commercial productivity through effective onboarding, CRM adoption, sales-tool proficiency, and role-based capability development. This role partners with global and regional commercial leaders to diagnose performance and adoption gaps, translate business priorities into practical enablement solutions, and help commercial employees apply systems, tools, processes, and data effectively in their daily work. The Director owns the global commercial onboarding framework and leads training for CRM, forecasting, pipeline management, analytics, digital selling tools, and other commercial technologies. The role also develops scalable digital content and learning pathways within Seismic Learning. Global Onboarding Own the global onboarding framework for customer-facing commercial employees and designated commercial-support roles. Develop role-based learning journeys, proficiency milestones, certifications, manager reinforcement tools, and field-readiness expectations. Partner with Human Resources, hiring managers, regional leaders, and subject-matter experts to deliver a consistent global onboarding experience. Improve new-hire readiness and reduce time to productivity through structured learning, practice, assessment, and reinforcement. CRM and Commercial-Tools Enablement Lead global training for CRM, sales tools, dashboards, analytics platforms, account-planning tools, opportunity-management tools, and digital-selling solutions. Translate system functionality into practical commercial workflows and role-specific use cases. Reinforce expectations for opportunity management, pipeline discipline, forecasting, customer data, activity management, and CRM data quality. Support new system launches, enhancements, process changes, and commercial transformation initiatives. Partner with Sales Operations, Sales Excellence, Business Intelligence, Information Technology, and system owners to improve adoption and user experience. Performance Diagnosis and Business Partnership Partner with commercial leaders to identify performance gaps related to CRM adoption, forecasting, pipeline quality, process execution, tool utilization, and new-hire readiness. Analyze CRM data, system usage, learning data, field feedback, and commercial performance trends. Differentiate between knowledge, skill, process, system, and behavior gaps before recommending an enablement response. Serve as a strategic advisor who recommends practical solutions rather than responding only to training requests. Learning Design and Content Development Design practical, scenario-based learning experiences grounded in real commercial workflows. Create instructor-led and LMS-based courses, videos, simulations, assessments, job aids, facilitator guides, and reinforcement materials. Use adult-learning, instructional-design, and blended-learning principles to improve retention and field application. Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate content development, simulations, assessments, and scalable learning assets. Partner with the Training Operations & Learning Systems Manager to publish, assign, translate, maintain, and measure LMS content. Facilitation and Adoption Deliver engaging virtual, in-person, and field-based training for new hires, experienced employees, managers, and global audiences. Conduct workshops, system demonstrations, certifications, practice sessions, and train-the-trainer programs. Equip managers with tools and guidance to reinforce onboarding, CRM expectations, and commercial-tool adoption. Build reinforcement and change-management strategies that sustain behavior after formal training. Reinforce learning through field travel, field coaching, deal coaching, pipeline discussions, and post-training application activities. Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. 12+ years of experience in commercial training, sales enablement, sales operations, commercial excellence, field sales, or a related discipline. Experience designing and delivering onboarding, CRM, sales-tool, or commercial-process training.
