This position reports to: Business Manager - Commercial&Operations __ JOB PROFILE SUMMARY Developing and implementing business strategy of Solutions Center, ELDS China. A key focus of the role is to develop the China Solutions Center as an execution hub supporting Solutions projects globally, working in close coordination with the Global Solutions organisation and other ELDS Regions/ & Business Lines. Holds full accountability to design, run, and deliver the day-to-day operations pertaining to the business and to overachieve customer expectations through lean, faultless operational execution. Responsible for KPIs including P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet and accountable for delivering results as per targets. Build and develop the leadership team and staff into a customer driven and high-performance operation. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Executes a customer-focused operations strategy derived from the overall business and functional strategy developed for focus market segments. Develops and grows the role of the China Solutions Center in supporting international/export Solutions projects, ensuring profitable, high-quality and reliable execution for customers and ABB organisations outside China. Works in closely with the Global Solutions organisation and ELDS Regional teams to align execution priorities, capacity, competencies, project governance and resource allocation for international Solutions projects. Ensures employees across all teams (under scope) understand ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards, and act accordingly. Accountable to deliver KPIs in line with Local Division and Global BL expectations. Accountable for delivering targets for manufacturing operations: safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity, with strong focus on standardisation, productivity, cost competitiveness and scalability. Ensures sustainable and effective value-chain, from supplier to customer and from order to delivery (products, projects, and service) Accountable for the development and continuous improvement of business processes and procedures, and for the overall customer satisfaction for the area under the scope. Deploys and manages project management systems for project execution, as applicable. Ensures strong execution capability for integrated Solutions projects, including electrical systems, protection and control, automation, SCADA and other relevant digital systems, ensuring effective integration across the complete project scope. Accountable for operational risk management, validates and improves reliability and effectiveness of business operations. Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and on behalf of the teams in scope and continuous improvement in HSE processes and integrity performance. Builds effective, competent, and high-performing teams. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, business or related professional. Solid experiences and track record in P&L management and operations, in electrical equipment industry experience preferred. Proven experience in project/solutions execution, ideally including international or cross-border projects involving engineering, project management and power automation scope. Excellent leadership skills and ability to attract, motivate, develop and retain a dynamic and talented team strong leadership skill to drive changes and continuous improvement. Fluent in English and ability to well present both internally & externally.
