Lead strategic planning and development of key marketing pillars, including brand story, positioning, segmentation, creative development, and messaging. Direct marketing initiatives from strategy through compliant tactical execution and continuous optimization. The candidate must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced organization with high expectations for quality, accountability, and financial performance. Develop and sustain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business results in a compelling, effective, and timely manner. Key responsibilities include: Develop and manage designated marketing activities for the Emrelis brand within the US oncology organization. Lead and support non-personal promotion (NPP) strategy and execution to drive brand engagement through compliant, data-driven, and omnichannel marketing initiatives. Work in a team-based environment to develop strategies and lead implementation of tactics that maximize sales, market share, profitability, and long-term brand value across the product lifecycle. Lead, inspire, and develop Marketing Managers to build and sustain a high-performing brand team. Lead development and execution of multiple marketing projects in a timely manner. Operate with agility and sound judgment in a fast-paced, matrixed, and demanding commercial environment. Work closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Market Research, Sales, and HEOR to ensure aligned commercial execution and a unified brand vision. Direct reporting relationship to the Director, US Oncology Marketing. Strategy Actively contribute to brand strategy, including ongoing gap analyses, market research planning, and development and refinement of the strategic brand plan. Monitor oncology marketplace trends and apply patient- and data-driven insights on an ongoing basis to optimize the marketing plan and brand performance. Partner with cross-functional teams to evolve product positioning, branding, and lifecycle strategy. Tactical Management & Execution Lead or support development of the strategic business plan and synthesis of the tactical plan, ensuring appropriate input and representation from key stakeholders. Manage strategy and development of compliant tactics that support appropriate consideration and preferred use of AbbVie oncology products within approved indications. Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and tactics through performance measurement, analytics, and metrics to optimize return on investment and achievement of brand objectives. Partner with internal cross-functional groups including Legal, Regulatory, Medical, Project Management, Sales Training, Consumer Marketing, Market Analytics, and Business Insights and external agencies to ensure integrated, consistent professional marketing strategies and promotional-material compliance. Demonstrate mastery of core marketing responsibilities, business processes, and ongoing brand stewardship practices. Financial Management Manage P&L responsibilities for the brand, including preparation, governance, and stewardship of the annual brand budget. Bachelor's degree 5+ years of marketing experience (US Market) Strong planning and organization skills. Successful record of accomplishment of people leadership (both with and without formal authority). Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively cross-functionally. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Desired Qualifications: Experience in oncology products that require a companion diagnostic. Experience with brand lifecycle management and ongoing optimization of established brands Experience managing marketing teams Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products Experience working with and managing multiple external agencies, including advertising and digital agencies, as well as internal partners. Demonstrated understanding of principles of market research to draw valid conclusions.
